18k Gold Vermeil Collection

Our vermeil, which should not be mistaken with normal gold plating, is a thick coating of 18 karat pure gold over sterling silver, making it more durable. 

You may obtain gold jewelry's appearance and feel for a much lower cost. We layer 18k gold that is at least 2.5 microns thick on sterling silver, the minimal thickness necessary by the Federal Trade Commission to define vermeil. This makes the weight on the gold much higher and as durable as gold pieces. Our 18k gold vermeil jewelry is all marked "925" on the back
